The fruit for CP Barbera Piemonte is sourced from the younger Barbera vines in Castagnole and Costigliole. It sees 8 days of maceration with the skins in roto-fermentor to extract the utmost potential from this high quality, lush fruit. The wine is aged primarily in steel with a small portion (20%) aged in used barriques. This is a wine that drinks well above its pay grade, and we are incredibly excited (and lucky!) to be able to offer it to you at an unbelievable price!
